Podcast Set Up Explanation

There is no better way to build personal brand and promote what you are doing than to produce a podcast. THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. CHECK BACK FOR PROGRESS.

Not everyone has a Joe Rogan sized budget and is able to hire a "Jamie" to produce their show. This is meant to be a BUDGET friendly guide, to an inexpensive podcast set up, brought to you by a video production guy. This 'podcast' explanation is coming from a perspective of a video production person who is suggesting an inexpensive way to produce your own content. With the intended output being (youtube and facebook). I am not familiar with hosting audio files on Spotify, Apple or any of the streaming platforms. If that is what you are looking for, there are several resources on google.


Possibly the easiest way to create a podcast would be to place a webcam on you and a guest and record a conversation between yourself and a guest. That would be the lowest budget and lowest quality way to create a podcast. You would then need to upload your video to YouTube and or Facebook. In order to elevate your 'podcast' so that it has a higher level of production value, I would recommend investing in a microphone, or a set of 2-3. You want something to record your sound and then something to record your video. You can attach your mics straight to your camera or you can record sound seperately and sinc it later in post production. This example will be for a 3 camera set up, with an audio recorder, and 2 mics. This is a good, inexpensive way to produce a quality 3 camera video podcast production. You will want to
